Network Simulation on the Evaluation of Urbanization in Turkey against the COVID-19 Pandemic

The COVID-19 pandemic, which began as an international health crisis, has quickly become economic crisis on both national and global scale. As economies are linked through value chains, this significantly affected the economy. strict measures to prevent rapid spread of virus negatively supply demand relations. In study, authors examine inter-provincial supply–demand relations in Turkey via a complex network analysis. analysis following two stages: examination topological properties simulation estimates. reveals complexity core–periphery structure trade network. Istanbul comes forefront strongest node terms demand. Simulation results reveal that such dependence alone makes system more vulnerable against or shock.
